With over 75 private campgrounds on Vancouver Island, there is most definitely "something for everyone".

This directory is divided geographically by region. The regions are North Island, Central Island and South Island. To review a list of which communities are located in each region, please click here. I am continuing to collect information about the various private camprounds on Vancouver Island however there are no active links included below. It is simply a listing of the campgrounds I have been able to locate. As more are identified, they will be added to this list.

Regional Parks and Provincial Parks are listed separately. There are also campgrounds run by Forestry Management companies but I am not attempting to compile a list of those (maybe in the future). At this point, the listing only includes private campgrounds on Vancouver Island and does not include any of the campgrounds located on the smaller islands located off our coast.
